Laser Stained Glass

Materials:
- Smokey Hills Ecoblack
- Smokey Hills MDF
- Screw Post Binding Screws - Amazon
- Translucent Acrylic - Synergy Carfts
This project was born out of a desire to experiment with making a stained glass panel, featuring translucent acrylic as the glass. I used a voroni pattern - there are a number of online voroni generators to choose from. After generating a suitable pattern in svg format I imported it into LightBurn, added a border for the edge of the frame and circles for where the fasteners would be.
The frame was duplicated and the voroni shapes inset a couple of mm each - allowing me to create a ‘sandwich’ with the stained glass pieces held securely in the middle of the sandwich.

The photos below show the process of completing the build.
